A Hero’s Journey with Horses- Discover the Hero Within!

We are excited to announce our new program for youth!

I have just completed my facilitators training for A Hero’s Journey program, designed and developed by Lauren Munger of Sacred Hoofprints in Colorado.

This program offers a pathway for self discovery for children and adults. In August we are beginning with children between 7 & 12 years old.

Children today often face incredible challenges, be it disconnection from social interaction via electronic devices, low self esteem, being bullied or bullying and on and on. All of which can create difficult behaviors, acting out and some tough times for all, including parents and caregivers.

During these fun and powerful camps children & youth learn to communicate feelings in a healthy way and gain tools to increase self esteem and much more. Really to discover the hero within!

During these 2 day camps, Brenda and the horses will facilitate healthy communication, confidence & cooperation building activities and identifying and expressing feelings. This is a great self-esteem booster for any child. We are beginning with ages 7-9 the first two Fridays in August. The second two Fridays are for ages 10-12. This is a perfect skill booster before school starts!

Cost is 175.00, includes water and snacks. Please bring a sack lunch for your child. Sliding fee scale is available. Group size is limited to 8. Minimum 4.
